Earth Day Eve

Happy Earth Day!

Last night The Jazzy Belle and I had a SLUMBER PARTY!!!! So much fun. We made a deliciously yummy dinner, played dress up, and laughed, laughed, laughed! Stevi (The Jazzy Belle) chose a bunch of fabulous winter outfits for me to take to New Zealand. I will post the outfits when I take pictures in beautiful NZ! I also borrowed a super fun black ruffle dress to wear in Las Vegas this weekend! So cute. It is a little big on top but I am going to try fold the fabric and tie ribbons on the shoulders to make it fit better. Hopefully it will work. 

First on our menu last night was Royal Winyouette's which is Gouda cheese wrapped in a butter croissant crust.

You will need to remove the wax cover and cut the cheese into 1/4's then half the thickness.

Wrap the Gouda in the croissant dough and make sure it is completely pressed closed. 

For our green side we had Sugar Snap Peas that come conviently in a microwavable bag. Lazy?Maybe. Good? Yes. 

Next on the menu was Salmon with Lemon and Thyme.

We used a little salt and pepper to taste and cooked the salmon (skin on) over high heat with olive oil and lemon juice. Both of Stevi's ovens were in use, one for our Royal Winyouettes and the other because she was baking chicken for her Earth Day Quesadilla office party.
