I purchased a "day tripper" at the Woolooware station and rode to Bondi Junction. The day trip ticket was $20 and it allowed to me to use the train, bus, and ferry all day and as many times as I wanted until 4 a.m. The blue line train begins at Cronulla goes all the way to Bondi Junction which is a bus station. I got on the 381 bus to Bondi Beach. It was about a 10 min ride. I noticed Bondi was much busier than Cronulla with more people around walking and driving. Rowdy said it is very touristy and a lot of Americans live there.
I can see why because the beach was beautiful. I was lucky to have such a warm sunny day. I love the smell of the ocean water and to hear the sound of waves rolling in. There were so many surfers in the water trying to catch a wave; I could count at least 50.
I thought the pool by the water was so cool. I have never seen anything like that. I would have loved to go swimming.

The beach was crescent shaped and very rocky on the south side near the pool.
There is a walk you can do along the water ~ walking relaxed me so much.
Bars and cafes lined the promenade past the street and bus stops. Surfers and tourists were getting on and off the buses like every 10 minutes.

The water is such a yummy aqua color, it makes me thirsty for something sweet.

I remember that pool! It was really cool but odd! I thought I didnt go to Bondi but after I just saw your pix I totally remember being there. My memory completely sucks clearly- or the whole trip was just so cool that it all runs together! Your reactions are so much like mine were! Im so happy you are getting to experience this!!!! I love you and I miss you!
